I know that each person has had those days when things just don’t go the way they planned…car broke down, shuttle is running late, overslept, or can’t find the time to get everything that needs to be done, DONE. I recently had one of those days; of course on a rainy day…man does the weather effect me. Anyway I was upset and thought who else to call but my mother to perk me up…well she did in a way I didn’t like at first. She said”Stop Makin' Excuses”…#welldamn not something I was expecting. I didn’t want to hear “Stop Makin' Excuses” but it was something that I NEEDED to hear. As college students, better yet adults, we should expect for things to not always go as planned…THATS LIFE, ITS TOUGH.
We have to realize that things are not going to be always handed to us. We sometimes have to work hard to get it. When you have those bad days just remember that they are not going to last forever. And to get over that hump saying “Stop Makin' Excuses” is actually a good push to get it done!
